Acer Launches Predator Laptops, Monitors, and Projector in India

Acer India on Wednesday launched new Predator-branded gaming hardware in India, including notebooks, desktops, projector, and monitors in India.

Available in India now, Acer says its Predator products work in tandem with each other to provide a seamless and immersive gaming experience.

The notebooks - Predator 15 and Predator 17 - run on 6th Generation Intel Core i7 processors with high-performance Nvidia GeForce GTX 980M graphics, 128GB PCIe Solid State Drives (SSDs) with optional second 1TB 2.5-inch HDDs at 5400 RPM, advanced cooling and audio capabilities to deliver ultimate gaming experience.

The notebooks feature Killer DoubleShot Pro technology that allows users to utilise Ethernet and Wi-Fi connections together for high-speed online gaming experience.

The 15.6-inch Predator 15 laptop has a 4K display and the Predator 17 has a 17.3-inch full high-definition (FHD) display. Both the laptops feature a triple fan design that's meant to keep them cool, and come with support for a Cooler Master fan module that can be inserted to notebook's optical drive bay.

Both of them have dust protection fans made of aluminium, as well as CoolBoost technology. The company has fitted SoundPound technology in the laptops with four speakers and two woofers in Predator 17 and two speakers and one woofer in Predator 15.

The Acer Predator 15 and Predator 17, shipped with Windows 10 Home, are available starting from Rs. 1,79,000 and come with gaming mouse and headphones.

The company also launched Predator G6 and G3 desktops powered by 6th Generation Intel Core i7-6700K processors, Windows 10 operating system, and up to 64GB DDR4 dual-channel memory.

The One Punch CPU overclocking capability is combined with IceTunnel cooling system to provide speed and cooling during extreme gaming periods.

The desktops run on Nvidia GeForce GTX 980 with ultra high-definition 4K display capabilities matched with Predator's curved Z35 monitor with G-Sync technology for stutter-proof gaming.

They have Creative's Sound Blaster X-Fi MB5 audio and come with a support of 4TB of storage (expandable by a further 512GB with SSD).

The desktop range starts from Rs. 1,20,000.

Meanwhile, Predator Z650 projector offering a full-HD resolution with 20,000:1 contrast ratio and ColorPurity technology for clarity even after games are blown to massive screen sizes. The projector can be connected to HDMI 3D and 3DTV for stereoscopic gaming and wireless technology makes it easier to share games. The Acer Predator Z650 projector is available in India for Rs. 1,29,000.

The company also launched two gaming monitors - Z35 and X34. The Z35 is a 35-inch curved ultra-widescreen G-sync display with VA panel. It has a 144Hz refresh rate that can be raised to 200Hz for optimised gaming.

The monitor is fitted with 9-watt stereo speakers with Dolby HD audio and has a 4-port USB 3.0 hub.

Meanwhile, the X34 is world's first 21:9 ultra-wide curved monitor with Nvida G-Sync technology. It features IPS display panel with a 178-degree viewing angle giving a wider filed of view and increased perceived area of peripheral vision. The monitor has two 7-watt speakers with DTS sound and zero-frame design with aluminium base. It supports DisplayPort and HDMI inputs and has USB 3.0 hub for fast charging of smartphones and other devices.

The Acer Predator range of monitors starts from Rs. 39,000 and goes up to Rs. 1,10,000. The company also launched gaming accessories including a gaming mouse, mousepad, a gaming headset, and gaming utility backpack.
