Dell XPS 13, Inspiron 15 5000, Inspiron 17 5000 Laptops Refreshed With Kaby Lake Processors

How do you make a great laptop better? Dell might just have an answer to this problem. The company has upgraded its XPS 13 laptop with seventh generation 'Kaby Lake' Intel Core processors and also added a larger 60WHr battery, which according to the company, increases the battery life of the laptop significantly. On top of these improvements, the company has also thrown in a Rose Gold colour variant for the laptop. In the meanwhile, the company also updated its Inspiron 15 and 17 5000 laptops with a thinner design, new colour options, and seventh generation Intel Core processors.

You still get to choose the display on the laptop, with a choice of either Quad HD+ touchscreen or full-HD display (which also comes with an optional touchscreen SKU). According to Dell, the battery on the laptop lasts for around 22 hours for the full-HD screen, option while the battery life will be around 13 hours for the QHD+ option.

The new Rose Gold variant is available in two configurations. The first variant packs a seventh generation Intel Core i5 processor with 8GB of RAM, 256GB SSD, and 13.3-inch full-HD display, while the second variant comes with an seventh generation Intel Core i7 processor, 8GB of RAM, 256GB SSD, and a 13.3-inch QHD+ touchscreen display.

The Delhi XPS 13 now comes with 1535 Wireless-AC technology, which according to company ensures a stronger and more reliable Wi-Fi connection.

The entire range of XPS 13 laptops will start from $799 (roughly Rs. 63,500). A developer edition of the laptop will also be available from October 4 and will start from $949 (roughly Rs. 63,600). As per a report by Engadget, Dell has said that the Rose Gold variant of the laptop will start from $1,179 (roughly Rs. 79,000).

The company has also introduced Inspiron 15 5000 and Inspiron 17 5000 laptops with a thinner design and colour options including Sparkling white, Midnight Blue, Fog Night, Matte Gray, Black, Bali Blue, Tango Red, Cosmic Purple.

The new Inspiron 15 5000 and Inspiron 17 5000 laptops are available with seventh generation Intel Core processors as well. The new Inspiron laptops will be available from October 4 starting at $550 (roughly Rs. 36,900).
