Dell XPS 15 Notebook With Infinity Edge Display Launched in India: Price, Specifications

Dell on Thursday launched its new XPS 15 notebook in India. The new premium notebook from Dell comes with the company's Infinity Edge display and is claimed to offer "the longest battery life in a 15-inch laptop." To recall, Dell launched the XPS 15 notebook at CES this year alongside a Rose Gold variant of the XPS 13, and the XPS 27 AIO.

The Dell XPS 15 will be available to buy in the country at a starting price of Rs. 1,17,990 and can be purchased via the company's online store as well as select Dell exclusive stores, Croma and Reliance Digital outlets.

The Dell XPS 15 is powered by a seventh generation Intel Core i7-7700HQ quad-core processor (up to 3.8GHz) and will be offered with the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 GPU with 4GB GDDR5 VRAM. The laptop sports backlit keyboard with precision touchpad with fluid panning, pinching, and zooming. The XPS 15 weighs over 1.8 kilograms and is claimed to be made from a single block of aluminium for a sturdy, durable chassis in a beautiful design. The device supports stereo speaker with dual microphones and supports high definition audio tuned by Waves MaxxAudio Pro. The Dell XPS 15 features a 15.6-inch full-HD (1920x1080 pixels) InfinityEdge and offers a wide viewing angle of up to 170 degrees. The device supports touchscreen and comes with a palm rest which is made from carbon fibre. For connectivity, it comes with a Thunderbolt 3 multi-use port offering users to charge the laptop and also connect to multiple devices (including support for up to two 4K displays).
