HP India announces festive offers on select desktop and laptop models

With the onset of the festive season in India, electronic manufacturers are coming up with schemes and new launches to attract consumers. Following this strategy, Hewlett-Packard India has announced a new festive offer on its selective notebook and desktop models.

Under the festive offer, on purchase of notebooks and desktops, consumers will be getting benefits like free gift vouchers worth Rs. 4,000; free three-year warranty worth Rs. 6,000, and Norton Internet Security (12 months subscription) worth Rs. 1,399. The company notes that the offer is valid till November 10, 2013.

The notebooks eligible for the limited period festive offer are HP Envy (Windows 8 models); HP Pavilion 11/14/15 TouchSmart; HP Split x2; HP Slate x2; HP Pavilion 14/15 (Windows 8 and DOS models). The desktops eligible for the offer are HP Envy; HP Pavilion TouchSmart; HP Pavilion; HP 18 Windows 8 models - H9, HP 500 and HP 110 Windows 8 models.

Earlier this month, HP announced that Chromebook 14, the first Chromebook powered by an Intel Haswell processor from HP will be released in India on October 17 at Rs. 26,990.

It features a 14-inch diagonal high-definition (HD) display with a resolution of 1366x768 pixels. The HP Chromebook 14 comes with a 16GB solid-state drive for fast start-up times. Connectivity ports on the new Chromebook include HDMI, USB 2.0, USB 3.0, headphone and microphone jack. The new Chromebook also comes with 100GB of free storage on Google Drive for two years and includes Google experience with Chrome apps that include Gmail, YouTube, Google Drive and Google+ Hangouts.
