It has been a while since Sony released a smartphone that received as much attention as the Xperia i1 or Honami. The leaks related to the device just don't stop coming in.

This time fresh alleged camera sample shots apparently taken with the Sony Xperia i1 or Honami have been leaked online, hinting that the device will pack a 20-megapixel shooter, as previously rumoured.

Techkiddy, a technology blog has posted some sample camera images that it claims to have been taken with the Sony Xperia Honami. The details of the alleged image reveal a resolution of 3936x5248 pixels hinting that the device will sport a 20-megapixel camera. It also reveals that the camera's aperture records at f/2.0. Further, the image shows the device's model number as C6902 with the confirmation that it has been manufactured by Sony. As per earlier rumours, the model number of the handset was said to be C6906. The image was originally posted by Taylor Li on his Google+ page. However, it seems that image has now been removed.

The Sony Xperia Honami is rumoured to sport a 5.0-inch full-HD display. It's likely to be powered by a 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB of RAM.
