A new leak has again pointed to the existence of the alleged HP Slate 6 Voice Tab, which might be the company's much-anticipated first Android smartphone.

PhoneArena has cited a presentation at the HP Labs which reveals a small and blurry image of a device. The site claims that the image purportedly reveals the alleged HP Slate 6 Voice Tab. Further, the site suggests that the rumoured Slate 6 Voice Tab is seen sporting a $200 price tag, which is very much in-line with earlier report that revealed that HP's alleged smartphone will be priced roughly at Rs. 12,300.

Other specifications of the alleged Slate 6 Voice Tab include a quad-core processor, dual-SIM support with voice-calling and 6-inch HD display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels. Earlier, the alleged HP Slate 6 Voice Tab was spotted in Bluetooth SIG filing which revealed a 1GHz quad-core Marvell PXA 1088 processor with Vivante GC1000 GPU and a HD display with 240ppi pixel density.

On Monday, a report had suggested that the PC manufacturer would soon launch a low-cost smartphone targeted at emerging markets, and specifically mentions BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) countries.

The report further claimed that HP's SVP of Mobility, Alberto Torres has been heading the team working on the alleged HP smartphone for more than a year. The alleged HP smartphone has been rumoured to equip a 720p (HD) display to counter the competition against the likes of Samsung.
