HTC at its Tuesday event is expected to unveil two new smartphones, possibly the HTC Aero A9 and the HTC Butterfly 3. Now, a third smartphone dubbed HTC One M9e has been spotted at Tenaa (China's equivalent of the FCC) certification site with some details and is rumoured to be also showcased at the Tuesday launch.

The listing (via Mobipicker) doesn't include any images of the yet-to-be-announced One M9e, which is said to be the global variant of the HTC One M9+. According to the Tenaa listing, the One M9e will feature a full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) LCD display with a pixel density of 441ppi. The One M9+, on the other hand, came with a QHD (1440x2560 pixels) display. The smartphone is said to be powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6795 processor clocked at 2.2GHz coupled with 2GB of RAM. The One M9+ included 3GB of RAM.

There is 16GB storage which is further expandable up to 128GB (via microSD card), according to Tenaa listing. For camera, HTC is rumoured to ship the handset with a 4-megapixel front-facing UltraPixel camera alongside a 13-megapixel rear camera. The One M9+ packed a 20-megapixel rear camera. The handset is said to run Android 5.0.2 Lollipop with HTC's own skin on top.

The dimensions listed say that the One M9e will be 9.6mm thick, which is exactly the thickness of the One M9+. The Tenaa listing mentioned the One M9e will feature 4G LTE connectivity.

Last week, reliable tipster @evleaks posted HTC One A9 aka HTC Aero image sporting different colour variants. The HTC One A9 was seen in six colour variants namely Acid Gold, Opal Silver, Deep Garnet, Carbon Gray, Cast Iron, and Rose Gold. The leaked images suggested that the unannounced smartphone may sport an iPhone-like design with bold curved edges and two wireless antennas running on top and bottom.

HTC earlier this month posted a press invitation on its Weibo page that talked about a press event in Hankone, Japan on Tuesday. As per the invitation, HTC might launch "dual flagship" devices.

We will have to wait for HTC's announcement on Tuesday to see what the Taiwanese company has in store.
