  • As per Tenaa listing, the P9 Lite features a fingerprint scanner.
  • The P9 Lite is rumoured to be a toned-down version of the Huawei P9.
Huawei's rumoured P9 Lite smartphone ahead of its official launch has gone on sale via a third-party online retailer again. Notably, this is not the first time that the Huawei P9 Lite has gone on sale via a third-party online retailer. Previously, listing of the Huawei P9 Lite as the smartphone was available via a Romanian retailer earlier. Additionally, the handset has been also said to have passed through Tenaa, Chinese telecommunications certification authority, revealing almost all its innards.

The Huawei P9 Lite is available to buy via a German e-commerce retailer named Sparhandy priced at EUR 299 (approximately Rs. 22,000). Of course since this is a third-party store, one cannot be certain if this will be the launch price, whenever the phone is officially unveiled by Huawei. The German online retailer also notes that the P9 Lite will start shipping from May 9 which hints that the company may start sales of the smartphone at that time only.

According to the online retailer's listing, the Huawei P9 Lite features a 5.2-inch, full-HD display, Kirin 650 octa-core SoC, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of storage; 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the Huawei's Emotion UI 4.1 running on top.

On Tenaa listing bearing model name Huawei VNS-DL00, it confirms most of the specifications that have been surfacing on the Web for the past few months. The listing shows the smartphone, thought to be the P9 Lite, in images too. As per the Tenaa listing of the Huawei VNS-DL00, thought to be the Huawei P9 Lite, it features a 5.2-inch full-HD display, 2900mAh battery, 2GHz octa-core processor; 3GB of RAM; 13-megapixel rear camera; 8-megapixel front camera, and 2900mAh battery. The metal-clad Huawei P9 Lite is seen featuring a fingerprint scanner at the back. We can expect Huawei to officially announce the smartphone soon.
