Intex Aqua A1 With 3G Support, Android 4.4.2 KitKat Launched at Rs. 4,030

Intex, soon after listing the Aqua 4.5E and Aqua Q1, has launched the Aqua A1 budget smartphone, which is now listed on the company's site at a price of Rs. 4,030.

There is no official word on the availability details of the Intex Aqua A1; however we expect that the company will announce the availability of the smartphone in the coming days.

The Intex Aqua A1 is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) device which runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box. It comes with a 4-inch (480x800 pixels) WVGA IPS display and offers a pixel density of 233ppi.

The smartphone is powered by a 1GHz dual-core MediaTek (MT6572) processor coupled with 512MB of RAM. The Intex Aqua A1 comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). It sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, while there is a secondary 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera also onboard. The rear camera features face recognition, Panorama, continuous shot, and HDR options.

On the connectivity front, the Intex Aqua A1 offers 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth options. The smartphone packs a 1400mAh battery, which according to the official listing is rated to deliver up to 4-5 hours of talk time and up to 180 hours of standby time. The Intex Aqua A1 measures 125x53.6x10.3mm and is listed in Black colour. The smartphone comes preloaded with apps such as Intex Zone, Opera mini, Ask Me, Intex Play, and OLX.

Earlier this month, Intex launched the Aqua 4.5E and Aqua Q1, priced at Rs. 4,060 and Rs. 4,930 respectively.
