Intex Aqua i6 with 5-inch display, quad-core processor launched at Rs. 8,990

Intex has unveiled its latest smartphone in its Aqua series in the Indian market, the Aqua i6 at Rs. 8,990.

The Intex Aqua i6 features a 5-inch (480x854 pixel) display, and is powered by a quad-core 1.3GHz MediaTek 6582 processor, coupled with a Mali 400MP2 GPU and 512MB of RAM. The smartphone runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, and includes 4GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 32GB with microSD card. It sports dual cameras - an 8-megapixel rear camera with flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Connectivity options on the smartphone include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, EDGE and 3G. The device packs a 1900mAh battery that according to company can last up to 6 hours and gives a standby time of up to 220 hours. It is dual-SIM smartphone with GSM+GSM support.

The Intex Aqua i6 comes preloaded with apps such as BIGFLIX, ZAPAK, Matrabhasha, and Intex Cloud app, which offers 5GB of free cloud space to users.

The Intex Aqua i6 will join the other two smartphones from Intex's Aqua I series, the Intex Aqua i5 and Intex Aqua i7.
