The under Rs. 10,000 smartphone seems to exploding in India. Intex Technologies has launched another smartphone in this category dubbed AQUA Wonder.
This smartphone runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and comes with a price tag of Rs. 9,990. Intex AQUA Wonder comes with a 4.5-inch capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 960X540. It is powered by dual-core 1GHz processor along with 512MB of RAM.
Intex AQUA Wonder comes with 1.93GB of internal storage on-board, which can be expanded by up to 32GB via a microSD card.
It is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) smartphone that supports 3G. The phone is equipped with Light sensor, Motion sensor, G Sensor and Proximity sensor. It comes with a 1800 mAH battery which the company claims with gives you a talktime of 3.5 hours and a standby of up to 72 hours. For camera, there is 8-megapixel auto focus rear shooter and a 1.3-megapixel one in the front.
The smartphone is 8.9mm thick and weighs 125 grams. Apps such as Whatsapp, Facebook, Google Maps, Youtube, Nimbuzz, Skype and Google+ come pre-installed with device. The smartphone will be available in Black and White colour options. To sweeten the deal, Intex is also offering 4GB microSD card, phone pouch and screen guard free with the purchase of this device.
Commenting on the launch, Sanjay Kumar, General Manager - Mobile Business, Intex Technologies said, "Our objective is to reach out to every market in the country and enhance the quality of lives of people by offering innovative gadgets. Understanding the current need, we entered into the smartphones category last year and so far have launched 8 models. At the same time, our price range is so dynamic that consumers will have not to burn their pockets to buy new gadgets."
