iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max now come with 4GB of RAM each, compared to 3GB RAM on last year's iPhone X

Apple last week unveiled its 2018 iPhone refresh with the new iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and a cheaper iPhone XR. The phones do not offer much of a change from last year's iPhone X, but the two flagship models do come with improved IP68 water resistance rating, faster Apple A12 processors, bigger rear camera sensors, and a new Gold colour option. A new development has now surfaced that tips the battery capacity and RAM on both the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max. While the iPhone XS claims to offer a boost in overall battery life, it actually has a smaller battery unit than the iPhone X. RAM figures had been tipped by a leaked Geekbench listing soon after the launch itself.

As per a report by MyDrivers, all the three new iPhone 2018 models have been spotted on Chinese certification website TENAA. The iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max now come with 4GB of RAM each, compared to 3GB RAM on last year's iPhone X. As for the iPhone XR, it has 3GB of RAM.

As for battery specifications, the iPhone XS, with model number A2100, has a 2,658mAh battery unit, and the iPhone XS Max, with model number A2104, is seen to have a 3,174 battery under the hood. In comparison, the iPhone X sports a 2,716mAh battery. The iPhone XR gets a 3,174mAh battery unit, however is claimed to have the best battery life out of the three new iPhone variants given its low-resolution LCD panel. It is listed with model number A2108.

Right after the iPhone 2018 launch, Geekbench screenshots listing the three new iPhones had surfaced online. The leak had revealed RAM quantities of the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR which coincide with the latest TENAA listings.
