While the Samsung Galaxy S5 is approaching its global release date, rumours about the next generation Galaxy Note smartphone-tablet hybrid are already doing the rounds.

When Samsung first experimented with large screen device 'Note', it did not expect that big screen phablet will set up the future for them. Till date the Note series has done wonders for the company and if the newest rumours are to be believed, then Samsung's next big thing could once again be a game changer.

This time around, the rumoured specifications for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 have been published by Japanese website CNMO which suggests several upgrades over the existing Galaxy Note 3.

According to the website, the alleged Galaxy Note 4 can come with a 4K UHD display. Though this seems very unlikely, we can except a 2K display (2560 x 1440) resolution which was earlier speculated for the Samsung Galaxy S5.

The other rumoured specifications of the Galaxy Note 4 indicate it will be powered by 64-bit processor, much like Apple iPhone 5s. The company is also said to be using its next-generation 20nm fabrication for the SoC, coupled with 4GB of RAM.

On the camera front, it is speculated that Galaxy Note 4 might pack a 20.7-megapixel rear-facing camera with ability to record 4K resolution videos and built-in OIS feature. On the connectivity front it is said to support the same USB 3.0 and 2.0 just as the Note 3, with 4G and dual-band Wi-Fi support. Other than having a high-capacity 3600 or 3800mAh battery, it is expected to be dust and water resistant like Galaxy S5, with IP67 certification.

Additionally, the Galaxy Note 4 is also expected to come with Android 4.5, as well as a 128GB variant. The website also mentions the speculated price of the Note 4 to be around CNY 5,000 (less than $800), which translated to roughly Rs. 48,000.
