After the launch of LG Optimus L4 II and Optimus L4 II Dual, it seems the Korean smartphone maker is looking at launching another device in its L II Series along with Optimus G2.

GSMArena.com via TechTastic is reporting that LG is currently working on the successor of LG Optimus L9, which is dubbed LG Optimus L9 II. As far as the specifications of this smartphone go, it is expected to come with 4.7-inch 720p HD IPS touchscreen display. The website also claims that LG Optimus L9 II will be powered by a 1.4GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor along with 1GB of RAM. This smartphone will be offering Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) out of the box.

TechTastic and Twitter user @evleaks also posted an alleged picture of this smartphone, which showcases the upper portion of LG Optimus L9 II. From this image LG Optimus L9 II looks similar to the LG Optimus L7 II.

So far there is no word on the expected price of this smartphone but TechTastic is pegging at a June launch for this smartphone.

From the past rumours, it is being touted that LG Optimus G2 will be LG's flagship offering for 2013. The smartphone is expected to pack in Snapdragon 800 chipset with four Krait 400 cores clocked at 2.3GHz along with Adreno 330 GPU. As far as the screen goes, LG Optimus G2 is speculated to have a 5-inch display with 1080p resolution. The smartphone is likely to have 2GB of RAM and run on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) along with a layer of Optimus UI

As per the grapevine, LG Optimus G2 will have a slim body construction and have ultra-slim bezel. Considering the frequency of leaks for the Optimus G2 has picked up, it is likely that this smartphone will see the light of the day soon.
