Next Nexus to be dubbed LG Nexus 4, coming on October 29?

A new leak appearing from a UK retailer's internal inventory listing has indicated that LG's rumoured Nexus smartphone might be known as Nexus 4. A screenshot posted on technology blog The Verge shows Nexus 4 in the inventory on CarPhone Warehouse.

Inventory listing aren't most credible source for branding of a particular product, but the name is in line with the number of Nexus smartphone launched till date - Three, thus it is possible the next Nexus might be known as Nexus 4.

On the other hand, a separate report from a French newspaper also claims the phone will be dubbed as Nexus 4 and it will be announced on October 29. This is not the first time that we are hearing about an late-October launch. Some previous reports had also suggested that the smartphone might be unveiled at All Things D's Dive into Mobile conference, which is happening on the same date.

French publication also reports that the smartphone will reach France in early-December.

In the past few days, we have a seen a lot of leaks showing either images of the rumoured LG smartphone or sharing the alleged specs of the phone. According to these reports, LG Nexus 4 will come with 4.7-inch display, 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm S4 Pro processor, 8MP rear camera, wireless charging, 8/16GB of internal storage and 2GB RAM.
