After weeks of leaks and tentative launch dates, Nokia's 41MP camera phone is finally on sale in India. As we reported earlier, company has priced it at Rs. 29,999. (see update)

Available now on Nokia India official store, Nokia PureView 808 is primarily known for the PureView imaging technology and the massive 41-megapixel camera sensor on-board. Other features of the smartphone include a 4-inch 360x640pixel AMOLED display, 16GB of internal memory, 1.3GHz processor and Nokia Belle OS.

The Nokia 808 PureView also includes full-HD 1080p video recording and playback with 4X lossless zoom and Nokia Rich Recording. Rich Recording enables audio recording at CD-like levels of quality, previously only possible with external microphones.

The smartphone is currently available in the black colour, with no word on the release of other colour options.
