Samsung has introduced four limited edition Galaxy Alpha models with handmade leather back panels in France. Priced at EUR 649 (approximately Rs. 50,000), the four limited edition Samsung Galaxy Alpha models have only 100 units each for sale, and each unit is numbered and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

The designer metal-clad unibody Samsung Galaxy Alpha limited edition models were created in partnership with two fashion brands - Free Lance and JB Rautureau, says the company (via Samyhub). There is no mention of when of whether these models will be launched outside of France.

In terms of specifications, the limited edition Galaxy Alpha smartphones pack the same internals as the original that was launched in August globally, and in India in September. Colour variants available in India are Charcoal Black, Dazzling White and Frosted Gold. The Silver variant was introduced in November.
