As the launch date for Samsung Galaxy Note II is drawing close, the company has posted a teaser video of this upcoming device to give some hints of what to expect from it. The video, which has been shared on Samsung's YouTube channel, gives no indication in regards to the specifications, price or the availability date for this smartphone.

The video just affirms that this new device will indeed have a slot for S-Pen just like its predecessor. Apart from that there's a message in the end, stating 'Your magical moments will come alive,' which does not give out much. It is expected that Samsung will announce this device at a press event on August 29 ahead of IFA trade fair.

The specs that are being speculated for this smartphone include 5-inch 1280x800p Super AMOLED display, 8 megapixel camera and quad-core processor. However, none of this has been confirmed by the company so far.

Samsung has recently launched its Galaxy Note 10.1, in U.S., U.K. and South Korean market. This tablet is available in three versions - 3G+Wi-FI, Wi-Fi only and LTE. In the U.S., the price starts at $499 for the basic model with 16 GB of storage and $549 for the 32GB model, expandable with an external memory card.

The tablet currently runs on Android 4.0, and it is being said that the Jelly Bean update for this tablet seems to be in the works. However, there is no word by when it will be rolled out. It also comes with S-Pen support and Infrared sensor. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is also up for pre-order in India from Samsung India's official e-store.

The Korean handset maker had also shared last week that the company has managed to sell 10 million units of its original Galaxy Note device.
