Spice's dual-SIM Android smartphone Stellar Craze Mi-355 debuts for Rs. 6,599

Spice has announced the launch of Stellar Craze Mi-355 Android smartphone in the country. Part of company's Stellar series, the smartphone runs on Android 2.3 aka Gingerbread.

Spice Stellar Craze Mi-355 features dual-SIM connectivity, 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display and 800MHz processor. The smartphone ships with 512MB RAM on-board along with a 5-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash, and a front VGA camera for video calling.

The phone comes with 3G, as well as other connectivity options such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and USB. It ships with NetQin Antivirus software and Vault privacy app bundled. Other features include A-GPS, social networking apps, IM, music player, and 32GB expandable storage.

Craze currently runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread, but Spice claims it is Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich upgradable. It is available for Rs. 6,599 from Saholic.com.

Spice also said it aims to launch another mobile - Spice Stellar Horizon - in the same series, though it did not provide any timeline or any other details for the handset.
