Spice's Nexian NV-45 With 4.5-Inch Display Launched at Rs. 3,799

Spice Mobiles has announced the launch of its international smartphone brand 'Nexian' in India. The domestic handset manufacturer has partnered with Flipkart for the launch of the Nexian NV-45 smartphone. It will be available at Rs. 3,799 starting Friday.

To recall, Spice Mobility had at the beginning of 2015 announced the launch of its new smartphone brand, Nexian, in Indonesia. It was launched as the Nexian Journey One and was a part of Google's Android One initiative.

The Nexian NV-45 runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box, and comes with dual-SIM support. It features a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) Dragontrail glass display and offers a pixel density of 218ppi.

The smartphone is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum (SPRD7731) processor with 1GB of RAM. The smartphone includes 8GB of inbuilt storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). The Nexian NV-45 sports a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, while also houses a 3.2-megapixel front-facing camera. Connectivity options on the smartphone include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS, and 3G.

It packs a 1650mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to 7 hours of talk time and up to 250 hours of standby time on 2G network. The Nexian NV-45 also includes sensors such as accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor. It measures 132.5x66x10.6mm and weighs around 141 grams.
