Xiaomi's flagship Mi 5 smartphone is available in a new "Extreme" version in China. Priced at CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs. 20,000), the new Mi 5 "Extreme" version is available via a third-party online retailer in Xiaomi's home country and sports overclocked processor, GPU, and RAM. Rest of the specifications are in line with the 'regular' Xiaomi Mi 5.

At the time of writing, the new "Extreme" version of the Xiaomi Mi 5 was not listed on Xiaomi's website, so it's not clear if this is an 'official' variant or some kind of crazy third-party mod, not usually seen in the smartphone world.
