Chinese handset maker ZTE has confirmed that the Nubia Z11 Max will launch on June 7. The company confirmed the launch in a Weibo post. The teaser of the launch also confirms that the event will see the presence of footballer Cristiano Ronaldo. Unfortunately, nothing more than the name of the handset to be launched is known at the moment.

Ahead of the June 7 launch event, the Nubia Z11 Max smartphone has reportedly passed through Tenaa. The listing shows a nubia NX523J smartphone, believed to be the ZTE Nubia Z11 Max, featuring a 6-inch full-HD display; Snapdragon 652 SoC; 4GB of RAM; 64GB of inbuilt storage; Android 5.1 Lollipop; 16-megapixel rear camera; 8-megapixel front camera; fingerprint sensor; 4G LTE, and 4000mAh battery.

The last Nubia handset - Nubia Z11 mini - was launched last month. Priced at CNY 1,499 (approximately Rs. 15,000), the handset was available to buy in home country China. The company claimed that the Nubia Z11 mini sported a "mobile phone professional photography system", which it called NeoVision 5.8. It came with a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, 6P lens, autofocus, and LED flash. There is an 8-megapixel front camera also on board.

The ZTE Nubia Z11 mini sports a fingerprint scanner at the back could be used for more functions other than just unlocking the device. Another highlight of the Nubia Z11 mini was it featured 4G LTE as well as voice over LTE (VoLTE) connectivity, which means it would allow voice calls via mobile data on supporting networks. The company listing had also confirmed that the smartphone would support the two LTE bands in India - FDD 1800MHz (Band 3) and TDD 2300MHz (Band 40).
