ZTE Nubia Z11 With Snapdragon 820 SoC to Launch in India This Month

Chinese handset manufacturer ZTE unveiled the Nubia Z11 for the Chinese market in June. Now, the company has announced at IFA that it will make the smartphone available in Europe, America and Asia starting this month. This includes the Indian market as well. The company has unveiled the Europe pricing of the smartphone, and the 4GB RAM/64GB storage bundle is priced at EUR 499 (roughly Rs. 37,300), while the Black Gold Edition with 6GB RAM/128GB inbuilt storage bundle is priced at EUR 599 (roughly Rs. 44,700).

The countries where the ZTE Nubia Z11 is launching include UK, Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Russia, India, Thailand, Vietnam, US, Argentina, and Mexico. In China, the ZTE Nubia Z11 with 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage is priced at CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs. 25,000), while the variant sporting 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage is priced at CNY 3,499 (roughly Rs. 35,000).

At the IFA event, the company has announced that the specifications are identical to the one launched in the Chinese market. The ZTE Nubia Z11 runs on Nubia UI 4.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and comes with hybrid dual-SIM which means it supports one micro-SIM and another either nano-SIM or microSD card. The handset features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) 2.5D display, with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a 2.15GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor. Both the storage variants support expandable storage via microSD card (up to 200GB).

The ZTE Nubia Z11 sports a 16-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, phase detection autofocus (PDAF), and optical image stabilisation (OIS) features. There is also an 8-megapixel selfie camera with f2.4 aperture. The handset packs a 3000mAh battery and supports Quick Charge 3.0. It houses a fingerprint scanner on the rear panel, and offers connectivity options like Bluetooth, GPS, Glonass, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 4G, GPS/ A-GPS, 3G, and USB Type-C. It measures 151.8x72.3x7.5mm, and weighs 162 grams.

There is no word on the exact availability and pricing of the ZTE Nubia Z11 in India. So far, ZTE has only launched the Nubia Z9 Mini in India last year at a price of Rs. 16,999. The smartphone was exclusively sold on Amazon India.
