Hewlett-Packard (HP) has not revealed plans to announce a new Android tablet since its launch of the Slate 7 tablet in February this year. However, a new tablet by HP has been spotted at FCC (Federal Communications Commission) for testing, wearing model number HSTNH-B15C. Phonearena spotted the FCC listing first and notes that the official name of the alleged tablet has not been revealed by the listing, yet.

According to the FCC documents, the alleged HP Android tablet will sport a 10-inch display and will be powered by a 6,760mAh battery. The rumoured tablet is said to be running Android, although there is no word about the OS version. The FCC filing also reveals features like presence of a SIM slot and support for cellular radio with frequency 850/1900MHz GSM networks.

Other features of the alleged HP tablet revealed by the FCC listing include dual cameras (front and rear); microSD card slot; power button; volume rocker controls; HDMI port; two micro-USB ports and a 3.5mm audio jack. In addition, the tablet is seen boasting two speakers at the bottom panel. Unfortunately, not much has been revealed about the innards of the alleged HP 10-inch Android tablet.

Recently, Hewlett-Packard was reported to be seeking buyers for some of its mobile-computing patents.

Prior to this, HP launched $169 priced Slate 7 tablet with Android 4.1. The launch of the Slate 7 marked HP's foray into the Android tablet market.
