iPad Prices in India Updated in Line With Earlier Announcements

Apple launched its iPhone 7 models last week and the new smartphones come with base model of 32GB storage. In order to keep uniformity across its lineup, the company decided to ditch the 16GB storage model on its iPad models as well. This decision by the company has now resulted in slashed prices of its various iPad variants in India as well, in line with the US market, as reported earlier.

The iPad Air 2 starts at 32GB storage for 'Wi-Fi only' and 'Wi-Fi and Cellular' models, compared to 16GB versions that were earlier available. The devices will be available at Rs. Rs. 31,900 and Rs. 41,900 respectively. The 64GB model has been discontinued.

Both 'Wi-Fi only' and 'Wi-Fi and Cellular' variants of iPad Air 2 with 128GB storage have received price-cuts as a result of the change in base model storage by the company. The 'Wi-Fi only' model of iPad Air 2 with 128GB storage, which was earlier retailing at Rs. 45,900 is now available at Rs. 39,900. The Wi-Fi and Cellular variant with 128GB storage is now available at Rs. 49,900 compared with Rs. 55,900 earlier.

The 'Wi-Fi and Cellular' variant of iPad Mini 4 tablet with 128GB storage will now be available at Rs. 49,900, in comparison with Rs. 52,900 earlier. The 16GB storage option of the 'Wi-Fi only' tablet was earlier available at Rs. 28,900 but now you can get the 32GB 'Wi-Fi only' variant for just Rs. 3000 more at Rs. 31,900. Again, the 64GB variants have been discontinued.

The Wi-Fi only variant of 9.7-inch iPad Pro with 128GB of storage will be now available in India at Rs. 57,900 compared with Rs. 61,900 earlier. Similarly, the 'Wi-Fi + Cellular' variant of 9.7-inch iPad Pro with 128GB storage will now be retailing at Rs. 69,900 compared with Rs. 73,900 before the price cut. The 256GB storage variant of the 'Wi-Fi only' tablet is now available for Rs. 65,900 compared with Rs. 73,900 earlier. The 32GB storage variant of both 'Wi-Fi only' and 'Wi-Fi and Cellular' models of 9.7-inch iPad Pro are available for retail at an unchanged price of Rs. 49,900 and Rs. 62,900.

Apple has also introduced the 256GB storage variants for both 'Wi-Fi only' and 'Wi-Fi and Cellular' models of the 12.9-inch iPad Pro for India, and they have been priced at Rs. 81,900 and Rs. 93,900 respectively. The 32GB 'Wi-Fi only' variant of the tablet is now available for Rs. 65,900, compared to Rs. 67,900 earlier while the 128GB storage variant of the same is now available for Rs. 73,900 compared with Rs. 79,900 earlier.
