Reliance Jio is spotted offering a Jio Prime Fridays section on MyJio app
Reliance Jio has been spotted adding a Jio Prime Fridays section to the MyJio app to list all the discount coupons and deals from sources such as MakeMyTrip, Paytm, and ShopClues. The new section also highlights cashback offers as well as gives links to sections, including My vouchers, Coupons, and JioPay among others. You can also directly recharge your Jio account from the Prime Fridays section. This isn't the first time when Reliance Jio has brought offers through its MyJio app. The telco offered cashbacks and listed discounts on the MyJio app and its website in 2017.
Among other deals, the Jio Prime Fridays section on the MyJio app lists cashback up to Rs. 1,000 on flight ticket bookings via Paytm. Customers ordering flight tickets of as low as Rs. 3,000 are entitled to avail the cashback. Further, the cashback will be given to KYC-verified accounts.
The Prime Fridays section also has a Rs. 75 discount on a minimum purchase of Rs. 199 through Shopclues. The maximum discount that can be availed per order is Rs. 755. Also, the offer is valid only on prepaid transactions.
Notably, the Paytm and Shopclues offers are valid until March 31. The deals are also in line with what's being offered through other websites.
The existence of the Jio Prime Friday deals has been confirmed formally on the Jio website. However, we weren't able to see the new section on our MyJio app at the time of filing this story. Folks at TelecomTalk have reported the section.
It appears that the Jio Prime Fridays section is initially available to select Jio subscribers. We've reached out to Jio to give clarity on the development and will update this space accordingly.
As we mentioned, this isn't the first time when Reliance Jio is offering deals and offers to its subscribers. The telco back in November 2017 brought a list of cashback offers for Jio Prime users. It had also tied up with Amazon India to offer vouchers for using Amazon Pay through the Jio network.
