Sharad Raises Concern Over Software Allowing Illegal Calls

Senior JD(U) leader Sharad Yadav has raised concerns about a software which enable one to make calls illegally by compromising the genuine mobile numbers and urged Home Ministry to launch a probe into the matter.

"It is brought to my notice that there is a software which is available in the market and which may prove dangerous for the security of the country.

"I am told that by installing the software in question, one can use anyone's cell phone number and talk to other number...I do not know whether your department is aware of the software," Yadav said in his letter to Home Minister Rajnath Singh.

He urged Singh to inquire it immediately effect so that "corrective steps" could be taken.

The JD(U) leader said he has also written a letter to the Communications and IT Minister in this regard.
