Sennheiser on Tuesday launched its new Momentum In-ear headphones in India at a price tag of Rs. 6,990. The firm previously launched its MM 30G in-ear headphones in October this year.

Made for Apple products, the Sennheiser Momentum In-Ear headphones feature premium-grade stainless steel in their build alongside a 1.3-metre dual-tone elliptical cable. The company says the headphones (Momentum In-Ear i Black) have been made for Apple products, while the Momentum In-Ear g for Android will be released in the coming months in India.

Using the company's own transducer technology, the in-ear heaphones offer a "powerful bass response, detailed vocal projection and a great sound stage" to listeners.

The firm also added that the headphones make use of stainless steel acoustic pipe and a dynamic speaker system to deliver accurate sound. Also, the Sennheiser Momentum In-Ear headphone comes with extra ear buds with several sizes. The cable also sports a three-button in-line remote for controlling music and attending incoming calls.

Answering the needs of those who refuse to make compromises, we at Sennheiser take the consumer experience to another level with the launch of each product," said Kapil Gulati, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Sennheiser Consumer Electronics, India at the time of the launch.

The firm in October launched its MM 30G in-ear headset in India specially designed for Samsung Galaxy smartphones. Jabra too launched its Storm Bluetooth headset at the same time for a price tag of Rs. 4,499.
