Sony h.ear on Wireless NC MDR-100ABN Headphones Launched at Rs. 21,990

Sony India on Tuesday launched its new and first Hi-Res Bluetooth v4.0 headphones with Digital Noise Cancellation technology, the h.ear on Wireless NC MDR-100ABN. Priced at Rs. 21,990, the headphone is now available to buy in India.

The Japanese tech giant boasts of the active noise cancellation technology on its new hear.on headphones that analyses ambient sounds to choose the noise cancelling mode that best suits the environment.

The Sony h.ear on Wireless NC MDR-100ABN headphones, as mentioned above, delivers Hi-Res audio content with the help of its 40mm dome type dynamic driver unit. It comes with LDAC, an audio coding technology that transmits high-resolution audio at the maximum transfer rate of 990 Kbps. It also features a built-in microphone as well along with a 1.2-metre connecting cable.

The headphones can deliver audio frequency ranging from 5Hz - 40,000Hz while in the wired mode, and from 20Hz - 40,000Hz in wireless mode. It includes NFC connectivity, gives impedance of 32ohms too and is rated to deliver a music playback time of up to 20 hours. Sony says the headphone comes in one single colour design and "blends style, comfort, on-the-go practicality and stunning High-Resolution Audio quality." Weighing 290 grams, the headphone is available only in Black colour variant for now.

Sony last month launched its 'Extra Bass' Bluetooth headphones in the Indian market, the MDR-XB650BT, with a price tag of Rs. 7,990. The Bluetooth headphones come with a 30mm driver, a bass booster structure and dedicated Extra Bass diaphragm.

To recall, Sony had debuted its h.ear in (for in-ear headphones) and h.ear on (for on-ear headphones) headphones at the CES 2016 trade show earlier this year.
