TerrificSupreeth M S (Jul 1, 2017) on FlipkartAsus ROG GL553VD-FY130T . Trust me, i am loving this laptop more than anything else. Firstly, the display. It is bright and colorful. After using an old HP430 for over four years, i can definitely say that the display is beautiful. And viewing angles are great too. I tested only a few games. Arkham Asylum, Farcry 3 and NFS Mostwanted 2012. These old games run butter smooth at the highest graphics settings. Keyboard is spacious, though it is weird. I'll get used to it sooner or later. Backlighting on the keyboard is beautiful. Build quality is pretty good. Like a review mentioned about the panel over the display being weak and bending just for a little pressure. Don't worry, that's not like what they say it is. You'll need a lot of pressure to bend the display panel like that. Battery life is a concern if you're gaming. Don't expect it to return battery life like a nokia phone. If you're gaming, it's only about 45 minutes to an hour. Other less demanding tasks, about 3-4 hours. I chose this over the HP Omen. Just because for 3000 rupees extra i am getting a much colorful display, a backlit keyboard that can change brightness levels and colors, 4GB graphics instead of 2, a DVD drive which i can replace with my old SATA SSD with a compatible caddy, much better looks and a much better service than HP can provide.Is this review helpful?
