About Kantara Movie (2022)

In the rural backdrop of Kantara Village, the bull-racing and spirit-worshipping culture of Kambla and Bhooth Kola play a big role.

As a police officer (Rishab Shetty) tries to condemn the custom — and a rebellion rises against him — a feud between nature, the villagers, and the evil forces is born.

The film has been shot in the rugged landscapes and the hinterland of Coastal Karnataka, and also touches upon local folklore and hidden generational secrets.
