Infinix is not the first brand you'd think of when purchasing a budget or mid-range smartphone online. However, the company has a good offline presence and makes many phones that cater to the budget and mid-range segment. The new Infinix Note 40 5G, launched late last month in India, is a budget phone offering features such as wireless charging, which is a first in this price segment. While it may not have the brand value, it does offer a lot for the price.

Infinix Note 40 5G mobile was launched on 21st June 2024. The phone comes with a 120 Hz refresh rate 6.78-inch touchscreen display offering a resolution of 1080x2436 pixels (FHD+). It comes with 8GB of RAM. The Infinix Note 40 5G runs Android 14 and is powered by a 5000mAh battery. The Infinix Note 40 5G supports wireless charging, as well as 33W Fast Charging fast charging.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Infinix Note 40 5G on the rear packs a triple camera setup featuring a 108-megapixel primary camera; a 2-megapixel camera, and a 2-megapixel camera. It has a single front camera setup for selfies, featuring a 32-megapixel sensor.

The Infinix Note 40 5G runs XOS 14 is based on Android 14 and packs 256GB of inbuilt storage. The Infinix Note 40 5G is a dual-SIM mobile. It features an IP53 rating for dust and water protection.
