 
                 
            
            The Intex Aqua Y2+ is a new variant of the Aqua Y2, which was launched last month only. Notably, the Aqua Y2+ features some of the same specifications as its predecessor.
It supports dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box. It comes with a 4-inch (480x800 pixels) WVGA IPS display. The smartphone is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum (SC7731) processor coupled with 512MB of RAM. The Aqua Y2 includes 1GB of RAM.
The Aqua Y2+ comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). It sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, while there is a secondary 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera also onboard. The Aqua Y2, on the other hand, sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front camera.
On the connectivity front, the Intex Aqua Y2+ offers 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth options.
The smartphone packs a 1500mAh battery, which according to the official listing is rated to deliver up to 6 hours of talk time, and up to 150 hours of standby time. The Aqua Y2 included a 1400mAh battery. It measures 124x64.5x9.7mm; weighs 100 grams, and will be available in Black, Blue, and White colours.
Intex earlier this month launched the Aqua Speed HD at Rs. 8,999. The Intex Aqua Speed HD was the new variant of the Aqua Speed unveiled last month.
