Le Max 2 Gets 128GB Storage Variant; Force Gold Colour Option Unveiled

LeEco launched Le 2 and Le Max 2 this month in India, and the first flash sale saw the phones go out of stock in no time. At MWC in Shanghai, the Chinese company has now revealed a new Force Gold colour option for its second generation of smartphones. It also announced a new 128GB storage option for the Le Max 2 as well.

LeEco announced a new Force Gold colour option for its Le 2, Le Max 2, and Le 2 Pro smartphones. This joins the Silver, Rose Gold, and Grey colour options that LeEco offers. Additionally, the Le Max 2 now gets a new 128GB inbuilt storage option, paired with 6GB of RAM. This new bundle has been introduced to match some of its competitors' offerings in the crowded Chinese market. The new 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage combo is priced at CNY 2,799 (roughly Rs. 28,500).

The Le Max 2 was earlier made available in two bundle options - 4GB RAM/ 32GB of inbuilt storage, and 6GB RAM/ 64GB of internal storage. The smartphone has been priced Rs. 22,999 and Rs. 29,999 respectively in India. The 128GB variant is exclusive only to the Chinese market for now.

To recall the specifications, the Le Max 2 offers a 5.7-inch QHD bezel-less 'Super Retina' display, 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, a 21-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel front camera, a 3100mAh battery, and supports 4G LTE in India, apart from VoLTE support.
