OnePlus has again teased its soon-to-be-announced OnePlus 2 smartphone, comparing the camera samples of the '2016 flagship killer' with the Galaxy S6 and iPhone 6. In other news, OnePlus 2 has been spotted on AnTuTu benchmarks with impressive score.

OnePlus compared the macro shots taken with the OnePlus 2 to the ones taken with Samsung Galaxy S6 while comparing night shots taken with the OnePlus 2 to the Apple iPhone 6. The company in its Forum post stressed that the OnePlus 2's camera will offer more details than the Galaxy S6 and iPhone 6.

While we won't be commenting on the quality of the images teased by the OnePlus, and will recommend readers to wait for our extensive review of the OnePlus 2 smartphone, you can head over to Forums and make up your own mind until then.

In other news, a variant of the OnePlus 2 smartphone was spotted in AnTuTu benchmark results (via Gizmo China) with a score of over 63,000. Based on earlier leaks, the company is rumoured to may have more than one variant of its next OnePlus 2 flagship smartphone under works.

According to the AnTuTu benchmark results, the OnePlus 2 A2001 scores higher than Meizu MX4, Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Asus ZenFone 2, HTC One M8, and Xiaomi Mi 4 among others. Notably, the OnePlus 2 A2001 was also spotted in GeekBench results last month.

Last week, OnePlus branded its upcoming OnePlus 2 smartphone as the '2016 flagship killer.' The OnePlus 2 title given means that the company believes its smartphone would be better than the flagships launching next year. An "improved and new" invite system for the OnePlus 2 smartphone has already been announced.

OnePlus is set to launch its OnePlus 2 smartphone at a virtual reality event on July 27. A number of specifications and details of the OnePlus 2 smartphone have been revealed by the company, including dual-SIM support; a 3300mAh battery; Oxygen OS (likely to be as close to stock Android); a fingerprint sensor; a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 v2.1 SoC; a USB Type-C port; 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM, and possibly a metal build. The company has tipped the pricing of the smartphone to be between $322 (roughly Rs. 20,500) and $450 (roughly Rs. 28,500).
