OnePlus has announced that the 'flagship killer' One smartphone will be launching in Indonesia and will be exclusively available via Lazada, an e-commerce website. The company on Friday confirmed that the OnePlus One will be available starting next month for those with Indonesia-specific invites.

The 64GB Sandstone Black OnePlus One will be available at IDR 4,499,000 (approximately Rs. 22,200). The company in a press statement announced that Indonesia is the first market that it has entered in Southeast Asia. To celebrate, OnePlus will initially be offering Indonesian users exclusive pre-orders of the One smartphone, with no invite needed. The pre-orders starts on Tuesday at the Lazada.co.id.

Commenting on the announcement, OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei said, "Our top priorities are our product and our users. We are proud this exclusive collaboration offers our Indonesian fans the best in after-sales support and logistics to enhance their experience of the One."

OnePlus earlier this month announced that it will let users buy the One handset without any invitations starting January 20. The offer was valid in various countries including the US, European and Asian regions. Unfortunately, the offer was not available for India - users required India-specific invites to buy the smartphone in the country.

The Chinese handset brand recently announced that it sold close to 1 million OnePlus One smartphones by the end of 2014 since the smartphone's launch in April (the smartphone only began shipping in June). The company did not mention the exact numbers of the smartphone.

To recall, the OnePlus One runs Cyanogen 11S or CM 11S, with the 'S' signifying the customisation for the One smartphone.

It comes with 3GB of RAM and is powered by the quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 clocked at 2.5GHz with Adreno 330 GPU. It sports a 13-megapixel rear IMX214 sensor with six lenses and f/2.0 aperture and also comes with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Connectivity options on the OnePlus One include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, and NFC functionality. It features a 3100mAh non-removable battery.
