Tecno Spark 9 With MediaTek Helio G37 SoC Launched in India: Price, Specifications

Tecno Spark 9 with 11GB extended RAM and an octa-core MediaTek Helio G37 SoC has launched in India. The smartphone will go on sale in the country on July 23 via Amazon. It features a 6.6-inch display with HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The 11GB extended RAM is a combination of 6GB of physical RAM and 5GB of expandable virtual RAM. It also comes with 128GB of inbuilt storage. Tecno Spark 9 features a 13-megapixel AI dual rear camera setup. The smartphone will run on Android 12 out-of-the-box.

Tecno Spark 9 price, availability

Tecno Spark 9 has launched in India with a price tag of Rs. 8,499 for the 4GB physical RAM + 64GB inbuilt storage variant and Rs. 9,499 for the 6GB physical RAM + 128GB inbuilt storage. The smartphone will go on sale in the country on July 23 via Amazon as part of the Amazon Prime Day Sale 2022. The smartphone will be available in two colour options, Infinity Black and Sky Mirror.

Tecno claims that the Spark 9 is India's first smartphone that comes with 11GB of extended RAM at this price. Recently, the microsite for the smartphone had gone live on Amazon.

Tecno Spark 9 specifications

Tecno Spark 9 features a 6.6-inch display with 90Hz refresh rate and HD+ resolution. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G37 SoC. It gets 6GB of RAM and 5GB of expandable virtual RAM to offer a total of 11GB extended RAM. The handset also gets 128GB of inbuilt storage. Oppo said that an OTA update might be required for the RAM expansion. For optics, the square camera module houses a 13-megapixel AI dual rear camera along with an LED flash.

The smartphone can be seen with a water-drop style notch at the front that will house the selfie camera. In the camera module, a finger print scanner can be seen as well. Spark 9 features a 5,000mAh battery. It also comes with a DTS powered speaker setup and will run Android 12 out-of-the-box.
