The new Wickedleak Wammy Note 5 packs MediaTek's new Helio P10 (MT6755) octa-core processor clocked at 2GHz coupled with 4GB of RAM. The handset also sports a fingerprint scanner. Notably, this is not the first smartphone from Wickedleak that packs fingerprint scanner as the Wammy Titan 5 smartphone unveiled back in October also came with fingerprint sensor with "360-degree recognition".
The Wammy Note 5 packs a USB Type-C port, another notable feature of the handset. The dual-SIM dual standby Wammy Note 5 runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box; though the company says that the handset is upgradeable to Android 6.0 Marshmallow (without providing a time-frame for the update). It features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) IPS display, and 32GB of built-in storage with no word on expandable storage support. It sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with Sony Exmor RS sensor and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
As for connectivity options, the Wammy Note 5 features 4G LTE connectivity, supporting both FDD-LTE Band 3 (1800MHz) and TDD-LTE Band 40 (2300MHz); Micro-USB v2.0; A-GPS; Bluetooth 4.1, and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n. It measures 149.9x74.3x7.7mm and weighs 155 grams. The handset is backed by a 3000mAh battery.
Wickedleak had launched the Wammy Titan 5 smartphone back in October in India priced at Rs. 14,990.
The dual-SIM dual-standby (Micro-SIM cards) Android 5.1 Lollipop-based Wammy Titan 5 (Review) features a 5.5-inch (1080x1920 pixel) IPS OGS display as its predecessor, with a pixel density of 401ppi. It is powered by a 64-bit 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753M SoC coupled with 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM and ARM Mali-T720 GPU.
