It's been a few days since OnePlus officially launched the Nord, and it's time to take a closer look at how it fits into today's mid-tier smartphone segment. The OnePlus Nord starts at Rs. 24,999 for the 64GB Amazon-exclusive variant, but this is only going on sale in September. If you don't want to wait, you have the option of the higher-priced variants which will be available starting from August 4. The good news is that even the top-end variant doesn't breach Rs. 30,000, and this is the one we'll be testing today.

OnePlus Nord Summary

The OnePlus Nord is a new budget offering from OnePlus, which manages to deliver a similar Android experience as the OnePlus 8, but at a more affordable price. OnePlus has kept all the staples such as the AMOLED display, Warp Charge fast charging, and a big battery in the Nord. However, it has made some cuts when it comes to the SoC and the build quality. The OnePlus Nord still has glass on the back, but instead of a metal frame, it's plastic.

The SoC used is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G, and not an 800-series chip as we're used to seeing. However, the Nord does support 5G, which is a cool bonus. As an overall package, it's really hard to find fault with the OnePlus Nord. App and gaming performance is good, it captures good photos and videos in daylight, and the display supports HDR10+.

Low-light image quality suffers a bit, but that's pretty much this phone's only major weakness. Battery life is very good and the single speaker gets decently loud. One impressive feature of the OnePlus Nord is its ability to shoot selfie videos at 4K 60fps, which is something even the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro can't do.

Pros.1 great performance 2.5g enabled 3.Oxygen 10 one plus system 4. Fast charging, will take 35 min to fully charge your phone Cons.1 Camera Quality is poor and don,t justify 48 MP title. 2.data tranfer rate from laptop to mobile is very less. 3. 4300 power battery just last in a day with normal usage

Worst mobile company

I strongly suggest not to buy any OnePlus mobile.. because easily it comes repair and cost to repair even for minor damages is half of the initial price.. I purchased mobile for 30000/- not suddenly green line appears and service centre is saying you have to change the disy.. Now cost of display is 14793/- Very very bad service..never purchase this Mobile

west of 30000 rs .... inko lagta he ye norml chiz he aam aadmi pesa jama k phone leta he ek hi din me itne issue aate he fir bhi unke service center k hisab se koi prob nai he phone me service center ka kehna he customer care me call karo vaha call karte he to bolte he service centre valo ka ye pro he bettry drainning , phone blinking , hanging n all things are norml for them

Worth being in a trash can.

Keep's hanging. starts vibrating on its own. Does not work properly. Battery life is very bad. Does not give the 90hz refresh rate. Opens up any app. Force quits application on its own.
