The latest Norton Security solution includes new features such as Proactive Exploit Prevention, Emulation Technology, Predictive Machine Learning Engine etc. Proactive Exploit Prevention feature helps users in protecting themselves from zero-day vulnerabilities, the bugs in applications that are unknown to the vendors themselves, and can potentially be exploited by the hackers before being fixed.

With its emulation technology feature, the software unpacks and runs the suspicious files in a virtual machine in order to protect user's machine from a file that hides malicious code in itself. "The Predictive Machine Learning Engine anticipates new and evolving malware variants. Using a machine learning algorithm, it develops statistical model that helps accurately detect and blocks both new and unknown malware," the company said regarding Predictive Machine Learning Engine in its press release.

The company claims that Mac users, specifically, will notice faster scans and lower overall memory utilisation with the latest Norton Security solution on their machines. Users can manage their account with company's web-portal My Norton.
