It's not everyday that I'm excited about a new piece of tech. Phones and laptops have been using the same form factor for so many decades now that there's nothing really exciting when it comes to design. However, when I first laid my hands on the new Asus Zenbook Duo 2024, I was immediately super excited for the future of laptop design. ‘In Search of Incredible' has been Asus' tagline since 2013, and I think they've truly achieved something incredible with the Zenbook Duo 2024. This laptop is going to change the portability game.
Asus ZenBook Duo 2024 (UX8406) Summary
The Asus Zenbook Duo 2024 is a gamechanger for laptops. This particular Duo variant comes with dual 14-inch OLED touch displays, a detachable Bluetooth keyboard, and is hardly any bigger or heavier than a regular 14-inch laptop. It offers excellent battery life even when used with both displays and is powerful enough for most tasks. The touchscreen works well and so do the various modes such as the laptop mode, dual display mode, and sharing mode. The laptop can be configured with up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H CPU, 32GB LPDDR5X RAM, and 2TB PCIE M.2 SSD storage. The CPU is paired with the Intel Arc GPU and an NPU for onboard AI tasks. Overall, this is an excellent laptop for productivity with good battery life and performance.
