Sound One Drum has an IPX5 water resistance rating

Budget personal audio and mobile accessories brand Sound One competes in a crowded market segment, but does have a decent product portfolio to work with. The company offers a range of wireless and wired audio products including headphones and speakers, as well as accessories such as cables and chargers. The latest product from Sound One is the Drum portable wireless speaker, which is priced at Rs. 3,490. The speaker is available to buy on various online and offline platforms, including Amazon, Flipkart, and other key retailers.

The Sound One Drum features Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity, and is IPX5 rated for water and dust resistance. The device features a fabric-wrapped exterior that covers the two 5W drivers, for a total output of 10W. The speaker also supports audio playback from a microSD card, and has a microphone that enables hands-free use for voice calls with a paired mobile phone.

The speaker has a 2,000mAh battery which is claimed by the company to last for up to 8 hours on a single charge. The Sound One Drum speaker has its controls at the top, and also has a fabric ribbon that makes it easier to pick up and carry the speaker. The speaker weighs 649 grams, and also supports playback through 3.5mm cables and USB. Interestingly, the speaker is priced at Rs. 1,990 on Amazon India currently.

Sound One recently launched the X60 wireless earphones, which retails at Rs 1,890. The earphones feature a neckband design and are IPX5 rated for water and dust resistance, just like the Sound One Drum speaker.
