Phone brands have adopted different trends at different times. There was a phase when curved displays were the rage, followed by a brief obsession with phones that made their design the talking point (transparent backs included). Pop-up cameras had their moment too. Lately, though, battery life has become the battleground, with brands cramming bigger and bigger cells into phones that were already perfectly capable of lasting a day. The Poco M8 Power is Xiaomi's sub-brand joining that particular race.
