  The laptop is really a power packed machine. The specifications are unmatchable at this price. I bought this laptop for 1,17,000 during republic day sale, 2018. It has 75 Hz screen The speakers are mush better than other laptops at this range (update the realtek audio driver if you face any problems in brand new laptop) The build quality is OK but best for this price. I really recommend this. ALPHA APPROVED 👍

  2017 AAA games will run smooth on this. I bought this after a lot of research. Better to go for 17 inch screen laptop with Nvidia 1060 Graphics card than 15 inch 1050 Ti version. Only two cons * It heats up when running hardcore games * Slight lightbleed issue on the screen. Only noticeable when the screen is dark.

• Value for money!! Great gaming laptop!!

  Folks, My 2 cents on this machine. I am not going to elaborate on the positive points, which can found on most of the reviews in any websites. In fact i want to divert the focus on the "not so" common points 1) There are negative feedback on the touch and feel - Personally speaking, this does not matter, this is a heavy laptop and it will be difficult to lug around so people admire the looks. It is a decent looking laptop, looks simple with just the red logo. 2) Performance - Works as expected and this is the cheapest in the range. However observed some lags when playing Sniper 3 - Ghost warrior, used a cooling pad and this issue went away. I would suggest a 4 or 5 fan cooling pad when playing games with all the bells and whistles. 3) Most of the laptops i had/have/seen the power charging port is on the left or behind. Please note that it is on the right in this laptop. (Perhaps i have not used a HP machine before) little inconvenient for me. 4) I found the brightness little less than my old Dell XPS 17, clearly noticeable when i use both Dell and HP. 5) Sound - Decent sound, not as bad as i read on some of the reviews! Even though it uses B & O , still it lacks power. (When i find the sound lacking i use my JBL charge + speakers) In a nutshell, it is a good gaming laptop and value for money in this range. The alternatives are much more expensive for the same specs. If you are planning to buy a gaming laptop and have the budget go for it, it is a good choice. The only dilemma will be 1060 or 1070 graphics, but please note that the Omen-17's sold in India is not 4k!! so spending another 30k for additional 2gb graphics is left to your discretion. The money could be spent on buying a cooling pad and a good gaming mouse ) I forgot to mention, I got a great looking 17 inch HP laptop bag free - and the laptop was delivered with in 24 hrs!!
