Lava Mobiles is back in the news with its first 5G smartphone in India, the Lava Agni 5G. This new model has been launched in the sub-Rs. 20,000 segment, which is now bustling with 5G smartphones. From the looks of it, the Lava Agni 5G does seem well spec'd. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC and sports a quad camera setup. It also packs in a 5,000mAh battery and supports 30W fast charging. With such powerful hardware, can the Agni 5G set the market on fire? I put the Lava Agni 5G to the test to find out.

Lava Agni 5G Summary

The Lava Agni 5G packs in a 6.78-inch display with a hole punch for the selfie camera. The phone has a plastic body, and the frame has a glossy blue finish. Lava has gone with a quad-camera setup at the back with dual-LED flash. The back panel has a glossy finish and picks up smudges rather easily. You get a case in the box, along with a 30W fast charger.

The Agni 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The Lava Agni 5G houses a 5,000mAh battery. It runs stock Android 11 with a few additions from Lava on top. The smartphone offers good snappy performance and scores as well as its competition in benchmarks.

The Lava Agni 5G has a quad-camera setup consisting of a 64-megapixel primary camera, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. For selfies, it has a 16-megapixel front shooter. The phone shoots photos at full resolution which might fill up the storage space rather quickly., Photo quality in daylight as well as low light wasn’t the best and could do with a few improvements. It also lacks video stabilisation which results in shaky videos.

I am blown away by Lava Agni 5g and to keep it short I would say that time of Chinese phone in Indian market is going to be over in 2-3 years. Such a classy phone Lava has made. Customer support services are very prompt, great engagement shown by company. I found it way better and still cheaper than Samsung which I have had three phones of in past. Fast and fluid..

This phone is nicely design by lava. Congrats to the team. I like 1. Nice Screen display 2. Excellent performance (incredible fast) 3. Phone size is big compare to other phone 4. Stock Android experience 5. Nice packaging and build quality is the best 6. It's completely made in india by Indian company. Main reason for purchasing this phone. Need to improve 1. Camera software 2. Battery is discharging faster. Both can be improved by software upgrade. Overall excellent phone. Must go for it.

Indians Go For Lava Agni 5G... It's Perfect. Lava Agni 5G - You are 'The Kashmir Files' Of Mobile industry. What a Super Phone, Super Cammera, Super Fast, Super Memory Godown, Superior Look, Subkuch Superficial, Yet dominated by marketing and promotion team of Flipcart...I blame Flipcart for not taking this product to the customers... Unless and until you don't search it personally they don't even bother to recommand these excellent of the excellent product to customer which will add value by taking Customer experience to different level. Lava - You Make In India - Slowly the market will appreciate your work. Bring us the next super Range, Mediatek Dimencity 810 is far more better than SD 700-750... And yet phone is in budget...
