iPhone X With Rs. 10,000 Cashback via Airtel Online Store

iPhone X price in India starts at Rs. 89,000 for the 64GB variant

Airtel has announced that it will sell the iPhone X to customers via its recently launched online store. However, only postpaid customers of the operator will be able to buy the handset from its online platform, it said in a statement. While iPhone X is available on pre-orders via e-commerce retailers such as Flipkart and Amazon, it is not listed on the Airtel site at present. The company said in its media release that iPhone X will go sale via its website at 6pm IST on Friday, November 3.

 

Like online retailers, Airtel is offering the Rs. 10,000 cashback on buying the iPhone X on purchases made via Citibank credit cards. It has pointed out that only the purchases made between 6pm IST on Friday and 7am IST on Saturday will be eligible for the cashback offer.

The iPhone X will be sold to Airtel postpaid users on “first come, first serve basis and full payment basis” - meaning, no EMI option. The company says prepaid users who want to buy the handset from its online store will have to move to a postpaid plan.

Our customers can also experience the seamless digital experience offered by Airtel’s Online Store from ordering the device to doorstep delivery.”

The iPhone X India pre-orders started on October 27 and slated to go on sale via online and offline channels across the country on Friday. It comes in two storage variants – 64GB at Rs. 89,000, and 256GB at Rs. 1,02,000. The handset is the first bezel-less smartphone from Apple and the first mainstream smartphone in the country to cross the Rs. 1,0,000-mark. An all-new iPhone X leather folio will be available at Rs. 8,600 while a Lightning Dock in colour-matching metallic finishes will be available at Rs. 4,700; the official leather and silicone cases start at Rs. 3,500.

 

iPhone X is the company's first all-screen smartphone and sports a 5.8-inch Super Retina display. It packs Face ID, wireless charging, all glass and surgical-grade stainless steel body, which is also said to be water and dust resistant. It has two 12-megapixel cameras with OIS on the back. The rear camera now packs dual optical image stabilisation which includes new colour filter, deeper pixels, and image signal processor. There's a 7-megapixel front-facing FaceTime HD camera. It is powered by A11 Bionic processor which comes with neural engine for supporting machine learning, augmented reality and 3D gaming.
