Huawei Y6 Pro (2017) With Metal Body Launched: Price, Specifications

Chinese handset maker Huawei has launched the new Y6 Pro (2017), which is an upgraded variant of the Huawei Y6 (2017). The new Huawei handset sports a metal body and brings other improvements compared to the Y6 (2017) smartphone which was unveiled earlier this year. The Huawei Y6 Pro (2017) is now available in several markets in Europe, and is listed on Amazon at EUR 189 (roughly Rs. 14,450).

Apart from the metal body, the Huawei Y6 Pro (2017) features a fingerprint scanner on the back panel. For specifications, the dual-SIM (Nano) Huawei Y6 Pro (2017) runs on EMUI 5.1 based on Android 7.0 Nougat. It sports a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 (MSM8917) SoC coupled with 2GB of RAM.

On the camera front, it sports a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. It packs 16GB storage, and comes with expandable storage support. It measures 143.5x71x8.05mm, and weighs 145 grams. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/ A-GPS, Glonass, and Micro-USB. It packs 3020mAh non-removable battery, and will be available in Black, Golden, and Silver colours.

To recall, Huawei launched Y6 (2017) smartphone back in May featuring 3000mAh battery and 13-megapixel primary camera. The Y6 (2017) came with MediaTek MT6737T processor under the hood.

Last week, Huawei quietly launched the Honor 6C Pro smartphone in Russia. The Honor 6C Pro runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with company's EMUI 5.1 on top. The Honor 6C Pro was priced at EUR 179 (roughly Rs. 13,750). It will be first available in European markets.
