If you haven't heard of Nuu Mobile yet it's probably because the brand hasn't been seen in India, until today that is. The US-based company at an event in New Delhi on Wednesday officially marked its entry into the country with the launch of four new smartphones. Nuu Mobile is known for making affordable Android handsets and the Q500, Q626, M3, and X5 look to offer just that.

Nuu Mobile has been present in markets like the US, the UK, Indonesia, and others for a while. The company is now looking to get a piece of the Indian market that is currently dominated by the likes of Samsung, Xiaomi, Vivo, and Oppo to name a few in the budget to mid-range category. The first batch of phones from the company will look to offer affordable Android handsets in a variety of designs to target consumers of all kinds.

The M3 and Q626 fall in between being priced at Rs. 12,499 and Rs. 12,999, respectively. The smartphones will be available through offline channels and will go on sale some time in September. The company plans to invest $5 million in marketing in India to spread the awareness of the new brand.
