Vivo Electronics Corp. is a phone brand based in Dongguan, Guangdong, China. It was founded in 2009. The company is another Chinese smartphone maker to enter India recently. It makes low-cost Android phones, and those in the mid-range segment of the market. All of these are available in India too.

Vivo's latest mobile launch is the V40 Pro. The mobile was launched in 7th August 2024. The phone comes with a 6.78-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 2800 pixels by 1260 pixels.

It comes with 8GB, 12GB of RAM. The phone packs 256GB, 512GB of internal storage As far as the cameras are concerned, the Vivo V40 Pro packs a 50-megapixel + 50-megapixel + 50-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 50-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

The Vivo V40 Pro runs Android 14 and is powered by a 5500mAh non removable battery. It measures 164.30 x 75.10 x 7.50 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 192.00 grams.

The Vivo V40 Pro is a dual SIM mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, USB Type-C, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include In-Display Fingerprint Sensor, Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor, Gyroscope and Temperature sensor.
