  I will jump straight into the pros and cons section. PROS It has one of the best cooling technology as cooler master delivers awesome efficiency while cooling this laptop. There are in total of 6 heat pipes which can be glanced through the bottom vents, again huge vented portion, looks awesome. The performance is what you would expect from an entry level gaming laptop. It has core i7 7700HQ clocked at 2.8 ghz which can turbo clock itself upto 3.5-3.8 ghz. Gtx1050 offers suffice performance and you can play almost any game at high-very high or even ultra setting at 1080p except for badly ported games like mafia 3. Else below 1080p you can get a solid 40-50 fps at ultra on most of the games. CONS Assuming you paid somewhere around 89k one would obviously expect a backlit keyboard. Afterall you are paying a premium here. But it didn't bother me much as i had already bought an usb light in case if i needed one. Msi could have shifted the os onto a small ssd cuz ssd's are better than hds and offer significantly better performance and boot times. Like even an 64 gig would have been a perfect deal maker. 128 would have been a charm but that would increase the cost too. Overall i will conclude that this Laptop is one of the best gaming laptop for this price range though you'll miss the backlit keyboard and dvd drive, yet it offers decent performance and would compensate for its drawbacks It also has a i5 variant rest all the spec is same for about 72k ish. If i7 is not a must, try that! Thanks..

• Worth every penny

  The laptop, its a beast. The gtx1050 gives you enough power to play all the games at fair setting to very high without any lag. Laptop feels solid. One thing you might notice is that there will a alot to update, windows and the drivers. It is not a pain though. The packing was superb. No fault there. It was perfect. Delivery took some time but it was worth the wait. The laptop lacks backlit keyboard and a dvd drive which is not much of an issue. The cooling system is also upto mark. The fans are on the back side and there is less heat build up at the keyboard area during playing. Yes, the lap does heat up, but coolermaster doesn't make you feel that way. Overall, any one who is buying a entry gamming laptop, the MSI GL series is a good option. The price in Indian market is Cosiderably higher than in foreign countries.
